The Jollybox Global team has been devastated by the recent cancer diagnosis of Randy Calisterio, the husband of our founder Madeline and the father of their 3 children. He has been diagnosed with stage 4 squamous cell carcinoma of the lung which has metastases (spread) to multiple sites: bone (wrist, spine, ribs, chest), brain, liver, lungs.

This is an inherited EGFR mutation (rare in squamous cell carcinoma) making this combination a complex and aggressive form of cancer.

Randy is currently undergoing treatment (radiation, lifetime of pills (Lazertinib) and immunotherapy (Rybrevant) as well as IV treatment every week) which is not only taking an emotional toll on the family but will also be financially heavy. For those who know Madeline, she is not the type to ask for help but is always the first one to offer help to anyone in need.

Randy will be losing his insurance at the end of October, so we are raising funds to help take the financial load off of Madeline's family so that they can focus on being there for him as he bravely fights this battle. All funds raised will go towards Randy's co-payments, hospital bills, and assist Madeline's family with their monthly household expense.

Through her selfless work with Jollybox Madeline has positively impacted the lives of countless people not only in the Philippines, but also in the local community. This time, our hope is that we can all show her the same support and love by donating any amount to help cover the high cost of treatment or by keeping her and family in prayer during this time.
