On Sunday, September 21, 2025, our father Randolph Minor lost his battle to stage four kidney failure.
Many of you know our father from the time he spent working in the public school systems for 50 years. He dedicated 41 years to Fauquier County public schools and 9 years to Loudoun County public schools.
Our father was a kind of man that helped out any, and everyone especially the elderly. Before falling ill, in his free time during the spring and summer months, he enjoyed cutting grass for his family, elderly friends, and anyone who was sick and not able to. In the late fall and winter months, he made sure, family, and friends who had wood stoves were able to stay warm by cutting and delivering wood to them. In addition to being outside and helping others, he loved spending time and spoiling his grand babies.
Unfortunately, he had to slow down when his health started declining. In November 2024, he was diagnosed with stage four kidney failure, which led to other health complications. He spent the last 11 months in and out of hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and nursing homes. He fought so hard and for so long.
We are asking for donations to help cover our father‘s funeral and medical bills. All donations will be greatly appreciated and no amount is too small.
