Hi, I’m Tricia, and I’ve been blessed to call Thalia my friend for almost 15 years. We met in California when I didn’t know a soul, and she became my rock - someone I could count on through thick and thin. Her kindness, strength, and unwavering support have meant the world to me. Now, Thalia and her husband, Randolph are facing unimaginable hardship.
When Hurricane Melissa tore through Jamaica, it left behind unimaginable devastation-especially in the community where Randolph lives. Homes were destroyed, lives were upended, and hope was shaken. Randolph, a kind and selfless man, who would give the shirt off his back to help others, lost so much, including his only means of transportation.
Randolph and Thalia have already endured years of hardship trying to reunite through the immigration process. Now, this disaster has made the journey even harder. Without a vehicle, Randolph can’t reach the U.S. Embassy in Kingston - 4 hours away - to take the next step toward reuniting with Thalia. This isn’t about luxury or comfort. It’s about survival, dignity and the chance to rebuild. Randolph needs just a few thousand dollars to secure transportation and provide basic support, like food and shelter, for himself and the other tenants in his building who are also suffering.
Every dollar makes a difference! Your support can help restore hope, reunite a family, and bring relief to a community in crisis. Together, we can help Randolph take a step toward healing and reunion! Thank you!
