For the past 14 years, I have struggled with ongoing lung problems that have made daily life a challenge. Two years ago, I finished a difficult battle with colorectal cancer and was grateful to enter remission. Unfortunately, my health has taken another turn, and I have now been diagnosed with peripheral T-cell lymphoma, a very aggressive form of blood cancer. This news has been overwhelming, and I am doing my best to stay strong as I face this new fight.

Living on disability, my income only covers my rent and electric bills. With my health declining, I am struggling to keep up with the extra medical expenses, transportation costs for chemo and doctor visits, and the need for a caregiver to help me through treatment. I am also worried about the possibility of needing help with burial expenses, should it come to that. These financial burdens are heavy, and I am reaching out for support so I can focus on my health and the battle ahead.
