At Queen City Health Center, we deeply value our patients and their families. Recently, one of our patient’s families, led by Mr. TW Randall Jr., has been severely impacted by Hurricane Helene. Residing in the Bakersville/Spruce Pine area, the Randall family's home is currently sinking and uninhabitable due to extensive mold damage. They are now residing in an old RV, which was kindly donated to them, allowing them to remain on their property as they work to repair and restore their home. Unfortunately, the RV also has its own issues, including roof leaks, holes, and a nonfunctional heating system.

Mr. Randall, an independent contractor who specializes in deck construction, renovations, and plumbing, faces additional hardship, as he only earns when he is working. The disruption caused by the storm has made it particularly difficult for him to provide for his family. His wife, Angela, who was already seriously ill before the storm, has experienced a challenging recovery, though they remain grateful for the strength and resilience she has shown, thanks to the grace of God.

Their son, who also lost his home, is currently living with them. He had been employed in Spruce Pine, but the storm caused structural damage to the building where he worked, leading to job losses across the company. Thankfully, he has been able to assist with physical tasks around the house, helping to clear debris as the family works to salvage and restore what they can.

Despite the ongoing challenges, the Randall family remains hopeful, resilient, and thankful for the support they have received. Their faith has carried them through these difficult days, and they continue to trust in God's providence.
