Support Ramon Garcia After Spinal Surgery & Cancer Diagnosis
Our family is asking for help for someone who has spent his life helping others—my brother, Ramon Garcia.

Ramon recently underwent spinal cord surgery, something that was already life-altering on its own. During the scans and preparation for surgery, doctors discovered something none of us were prepared for: cancer in his spinal cord. What started as one medical crisis suddenly became two.

Ramon is a Union Carpenter Foreman with Weigand Construction, with 19 years in the Carpenters Union 232 and 23 years in the Laborers Local Union 213. He is known as a hardworking leader, someone others rely on, and someone who takes great pride in providing for his family. His work ethic, integrity, and dedication have always defined him.

Because of the surgery and the cancer diagnosis, Ramon will be unable to work for up to a year. His recovery will require time, physical rehabilitation, and ongoing medical care. During this time, his family is facing not only the emotional weight of his diagnosis but also the financial strain that comes with medical bills and the sudden loss of income.

Ramon is a devoted husband and father. His family depends on him—not just financially, but in every way. Right now, his focus needs to be on healing and being here for them, not worrying about how the bills will be paid.

Funds raised through this GoFundMe will help with:
  • Medical and hospital bills
  • Cancer treatment and follow-up care
  • Physical therapy and rehabilitation
  • Household and living expenses while Ramon is unable to work
  • Transportation to medical appointments

Asking for help does not come easily to Ramon or our family. But this situation is bigger than any of us could have imagined, and we are deeply grateful for any support.

If you can donate, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. If you are unable to give, please consider sharing this page. Every share, every kind word, and every prayer means more than you know.
