Hi, my name is Victoria. Ramon is my husband. We have recently found out that Ramon has liver cancer and two types of prostate cancer. Also Stage four Liver disease. He is starting treatment the first week in March. This treatment he is having, is to prolong the life of his liver, for two years. He is on a liver transplant list. It can take up to two years to receive a new liver.  Ramon had to retire due to his health. This has been a hard time for him these last few months, realizing he can no longer work to provide for our family. Our electric bill is very expensive, we are also behind on our electric bill. Furnace in our house, we use electric plug in heaters. My average temp in the house is around 40-45 degree.  We just have never had the funds to buy a furnace and get the duct work done.. My husband is an old-world kind of man. He believes in working hard, as he has his whole life. Ramon was working planting corn with his family at the age of three and grew up without shoes. Ramon knows the value of money and hard work. He started getting sick with his liver about 5 years ago, Stage 4 liver disease. This was around the time we lost our 22-year-old daughter due to a brain aneurysm. I know what it’s like to watch your special child grow up in a hospital. We spent 13 years in hospital settings. Drs are saying Ramon’s treatments will be starting on the 10th of March. We have to drive there and back an hour and a half each way for weeks. My car, 2 weeks ago, blew a cylinder. We had it fixed. We had to use our bill and grocery money to fix it. As of yesterday, the car broke down again. I also have been in a bad way. I’m in need of $8,875 for the oral surgeon. I have exposed bone that needs surgery desperately. I’ve been living with bone spurs since Nov 2024. I’ve been in severe pain and discomfort for too long now. I do not have insurance to cover this extremely important surgery that I desperately need. We are not the kind of people that would ask others for money. We have always been the ones that family and friends could count on if special needs happened to be needed. We have found ourselves in need of financial help.
