Hello I am Kerry Anne an old friend of Lisa’s. She’s my Irish Lisa, we met back in 2016 whilst working together at Perth International Airport. Lisa now finds herself navigating uncharted waters, not only is she losing her soulmate, but faces the prospect of raising her two daughters without her beloved partner whilst grappling with financial responsibilities that come with homeownership. Their bank is unwilling to offer any support despite knowing their situation.

After a 10 year relationship, Lisa and Rami finally decided to have another baby, get engaged and purchase a family home. They share two beautiful young girls together, Tianna who is 6 and Alara who is just 18 months old.

In August 2023 they purchased their first family home together, this was meant to be an exciting year for them and the girls. In a tragic twist, less than 4 months later the family learned of Rami’s stage 4 colorectal cancer diagnosis that has metastasised to the liver. Rami was deemed terminally ill and was given up to 12 months to live. Rami has since had to stop working and has recently undergone emergency bowel surgery and has also now commenced chemotherapy.

This gofundme campaign seeks to ease the burden that now weighs heavily on the family. The funds raised will help keep their family home, especially through the rental crisis in Perth and meet ongoing financial pressures. A proud and mostly private family who found it difficult to allow me to set this up.

Let’s get behind them and show them that it’s ok to not be ok and that there are good people out there willing to help.
