My name is Ramel Jasir. For over 15 years, I’ve dedicated my life to telling stories through line, pattern, and texture. My artwork explores themes of culture, identity, and emotion, and has been exhibited in galleries and museums across the United States.

Now, I’m preparing for the most ambitious project of my career: Black Lines, White Boundaries — a multi-state solo exhibition launching in 2026. This powerful black-and-white series strips away color to examine contrast not just as a visual device, but as a metaphor for the boundaries we navigate—socially, culturally, emotionally, and spiritually.

This traveling exhibition will reach multiple cities and include artist talks, panel discussions, community workshops, and a fashion showcase featuring garments printed with my artwork. It’s more than an art show — it’s an immersive experience rooted in community and shared reflection.
