Help Support Ralph's Battle Against Prostate Cancer

Dear Friends, Family and Kind-Hearted Strangers,

I am creating this GoFundMe to help my brother, Ralph, out with some of his expenses and to overall lighten the weight on his shoulders as he fights prostate cancer.

For those that don’t know my brother, he is one of the kindest, most hard-working guys you’ll ever meet. But most of all, he’s a man of God, a son, a husband, a father, a brother and uncle.

In March of 2022, Ralph had a Prostectomy. In April of 2024 during a routine check up, he received news that his PSA levels were extremely elevated. He immediately contacted MD Anderson Hospital and made arrangements to go to Houston to get evaluated. After traveling back and forth to have some tests run, it was revealed that the cancer had returned and centralized in the prostate bed area. The Houston trips are more frequent as treatment has begun. Injections for now and radiation to start soon for a couple of months or until further notice.

All this time off has exhausted all of his vacation, sick leave and personal days and is now having to take off without pay, which makes it more difficult to travel.

Since his diagnosis, he and his wife, Elvira, have been doing their best to manage his medical and household expenses, but they have become overwhelming. Despite their efforts, it is beyond what they can handle alone.

That is why we are reaching out to you, our community, for support. I have started this GoFundMe campaign to raise funds to help cover his medical expenses. Your contributions will go directly towards ensuring he receives the treatment he needs to fight this cancer and have a chance at recovery.
