Please rally with us in supporting Raleigh, Brooke and their family as they navigate the challenges of Raleigh's unexpected diagnosis of stage 4 pancreatic cancer. We’re asking for your prayers, love, and support to help Brooke & Raleigh manage the overwhelming medical costs that are to come and provide some financial relief during this challenging time.

The journey began in June when Raleigh experienced ankle swelling, which was initially attributed to blood clots. Shortly thereafter, chest pain led to the discovery of additional clots in his chest. An ongoing struggle with chest pain in addition to abdomen pain revealed a non-functioning gallbladder, prompting emergency surgery on July 30th. To everyone's shock and disbelief, cancer was discovered during the procedure. Through extensive scans and doctor appointments over the past two weeks, Raleigh has been diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. In hopes of halting the spread of the cancer, his team of doctors have suggested starting chemotherapy asap. Raleigh received his port on August 13th and started his first round of chemo on August 14th.

Since learning of Raleigh's diagnosis, many of you have reached out to ask how you can support Raleigh, Brooke and the kids. They are still processing the impact this diagnosis has on their family and assessing their specific needs. While Raleigh's goal is to work when possible at this moment, any words of encouragement and help here will support them as they navigate a lengthy treatment process, cover time off work, and spend much needed time together.

For the sake of allowing our young kids a chance to live the most normal life as long as possible, we kindly ask for your understanding and discretion during this time. The children are not yet aware of Raleigh's diagnosis and we want to take the time to approach this difficult conversation with them in the most gentle way possible. Until we have had the opportunity to help them understand what this means for his health and their future, we ask you refrain from using unfiltered forms of social media for commentary/updates and instead direct others to this page so that everyone who loves our beautiful family, and also feels deeply affected by this, can receive accurate information directly from us.
