Support Raiden's Fight Against IMHA

Family & Friends,

Our sweet boy, Raiden was recently diagnosed with Immune-Mediated Hemolytic Anemia (IMHA). This is an auto immune disease in dogs in which the body attacks its own red blood cells.

For the last few weeks Raiden has been able to regenerate red blood cells on his own but recently he took a turn for the worse. On Friday 8/9 Raiden had a relapse & was admitted to the hospital for a blood transfusion. Raiden’s levels did rise & he was discharged to come home.

On Monday 8/19 his red blood cell levels dropped again & had another blood transfusion on Wednesday 8/21. On Sunday 8/25, Raiden could no longer continue to fight this battle and passed away peacefully surrounded by his family.

During this time we are asking for the support from our loved ones. As you can imagine, the emergency visits, hospital stays & specialist care have come at a big cost. If you or anyone you know are able to donate, anything helps. We understand that not everyone has the means so including our family in your everyday prayers would mean the world to us.
