Support Rafeef's Urgent Medical Needs

Hello,

My name is Mohammed Al-Dayah, and I was a seasoned practicing lawyer coming from Al-Karamah neighborhood in the Gaza Strip.

I am a husband and a father to three children: Rafeef (11 yrs), Yomna (9 yrs), and Ahmed (4 yrs). Up until October 7th, I lived with my family a grateful and happy life.

My eldest, Rafeef, has been struggling with Cerebral Palsy since birth. which caused her to lose the ability to move. Recently, during this merciless aggression on Gaza, she has also been diagnosed with Cortical Blindness and Epilepsy, which worsened her state even more. Due to the current famine and lack of medical resources, Rafeef lost a lot of weight, causing her to turn skin on bones. Rafeef is in a CRITICAL STATE and needs CONSTANT MEDICAL ATTENTION. We need to get Rafeef out of Gaza Strip!

The aggression on Gaza continues, and our family has lost everything.

After around a week from Oct 7th, our house, which costed us a lifetime, has been made flat with the ground. October 13th was the day we lost our precious house, belongings, and memories. It is as if it never was.

Our Story:

Because of this genocide, we were displaced 6 times to 6 different houses. Under the threat of death by missiles and live ammo, we were coerced to travel from the north of Gaza to the south. Running from death from one place to another, not knowing how the next day is going to be, is what life has been for the past 200 days.

With the current extreme living circumstance, we have barely been making by, especially Rafeef.

My Source of Income:

Because of the current situation and the absence of based judicial structure, I have lost my position as a lawyer. The practice that took me 12 years ground myself in became inaccessible, and I have been rendered unemployed, unable to feed my family.

Every penny I have ever saved up went into building my house, which I have lost.

In the midst of an extreme spike in the prices of basic needs like milk, diapers, and foods for my wife and kids, I fight against all odds to provide. With all of this, my daughter, Rafeef is in constant need of very specific medical attention and foods.

We implore the humanity in you to support us in these extremely difficult times. This is our only chance to survive. Our only refuge is to flee to Egypt, where we will be able to find all out needs.

The remainder of the amount will be put into covering Rafeef's special needs during the stay, which is important especially since I am ineligible of practicing law in foreign countries.
