My name is Rafael, and I am a first-generation college student studying Informatics and Game Design at University of California Irvine. I’ve been given the opportunity to complete a tech internship in Japan through the help of UCEAP (Study Abroad). This is an experience that would greatly impact my future career and personal growth.

However, I received very limited financial support, and I am now responsible for covering most of the costs out of pocket. As a low-income student, this is a major financial challenge for me and my family.

I am currently working to raise funds to help cover program, housing, and travel expenses. Any support, no matter how small, would mean a lot and help make this opportunity possible.
