Support Rafael's Journey to Juilliard in China

Hello, my name is Rafael Sira and I am a Venezuelan violinist trained in El Sistema and at the Universidad Nacional de Colombia. I was recently accepted to study a Master of Music in Instrumental and Orchestral Studies at the prestigious Tianjin Juilliard School in China. This acceptance offer comes with a full scholarship. Studying in China has been a dream of mine because it will allow me to combine my passion for the violin and my love for the Mandarin language.

The scholarship that I received covers room and board. However, traveling to a different continent is very expensive. For that reason, I need all of you to help cover my travel expenses to move to China, as well as some other incidentals that are not covered by my scholarship such as health insurance.

Every contribution is very important to me, no matter how small or big. It will bring me one step closer to this dream. Thank you so much for supporting my music and my journey!

Hola, mi nombre es Rafael Sira y soy un violinista venezolano formado en El Sistema y en la Universidad Nacional de Colombia. Recientemente fui aceptado para cursar la Maestría en Música con énfasis en Estudios Instrumentales y Orquestales en la prestigiosa Tianjin Juilliard School en China. Esta aceptación viene acompañada de una beca completa. Estudiar en China ha sido un sueño para mí, ya que me permitirá combinar mi pasión por el violín con mi amor por el idioma mandarín.

La beca que recibí cubre matrícula y alojamiento. Sin embargo, viajar a otro continente es muy costoso. Por eso, necesito de tu ayuda para cubrir los gastos de viaje para mudarme a China, así como otros gastos que no están incluidos en la beca, como el seguro médico.
