Hi my name is Madeline Rose and I am starting this GoFundMe on behalf of my dear friend, Rae Jackson.

Rae is a very kind-hearted and hard working person who has had some difficult cards dealt all at once in their life. Rae has been experiencing a handful of serious medical issues and has recently had to travel to get the care they need from specialist doctors. Not everything is covered by their insurance including an MRI of the brain, Chinese medicine, acupuncture, prescription medications, and massage therapy which has all been recommended by their physician. Their condition is still unknown as they are continuing testing, but pertains to something happening with their brain and nervous system which is affecting their ability to function normally. They are currently on a waitlist to see a neurologist.

Simultaneously, Rae was recently let go from their gardening and farm jobs by two prominent clients whom they have been working with for several years due to the economy being tough and the clients being unable to pay them for this season. All of this happening at once has caused great financial burden on Rae. On top of financial burden, they are experiencing constant headaches (52 days now) and vision difficulties due to their medical issues. Trying to find work or function at this time is very difficult for them.
