Support Raelynn's Battle with Stage 4 Lymphoma

I never in a million years thought this would be me. I’ve seen thousands of gofund me, contributed to many, I never did I think I would ask the community, family and friends for help. As many of you know I just started my journey with Stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma. This is a treatable disease even at stage 4, but it does not lessen the battle.

I am Raelynn, a 31 year old single mom of 3. I am a Registered Nurse at IU North and now I am a patient as well. This journey started with a cough and swollen lymphnodes. I went to the doctors in September and received a prescription for antibiotics. It didn’t help, but I thought I was healthy and it would go away.

I went back to the doctors in November; with a chest X-ray that showed a cavitary lesion. It’s very rare Hodgkins presents with these symptoms, a few months and many many tests later I started chemo today 3/28/25.

I will be immunocompromised. I have not been at IU for a year; due to this my FMLA has been denied and I’m not eligible for short term disability. My work is understanding but if I need time off I have no availability to take time off due to finances.

So here I am, asking for help in giving me grace. Money will go to getting me back and forth to appointments and supplementing time off needed during this time. I thank every single person for their help and support during this time❤️ you all have showed me support during a very difficult time.
