Hello, my name is Sarah Prater and I started this fund for my dear friend Raeann and her wonderful family. As many of you know, on November first, Raeann welcomed their third daughter Olive via Cesarean section. Just eight days later, she faced a life-threatening emergency due to a rare genetic condition and needed open-heart surgery. Raeann is now home and doing well, but her recovery will be long and her journey is only just beginning.

The expenses related to Olive's birth, the surgery, hospital stays, home health, and on-going monitoring and treatment for Raeann, will undoubtedly be challenging.

Ernie, who has been an incredible support to his family, will likely have to take more time away from work than anticipated to support Raeann's recovery and taking care of Charlie, Juniper, and newborn Olive, only adding to the financial strain.

Ernie and Raeann have given so much love to their family, friends, and community, and we now have the opportunity to give back and ease some of the challenges they are facing. Every dollar raised will go directly to:

-Current medical bills

-Home health services, including physical therapy, occupational therapy, and nurse visits, to support her recovery.

-Future monitoring and possible additional surgeries for Raeann to ensure her long term health

-Future monitoring and treatment for their daughters

-Any other unexpected expenses the family may accrue during her recovery
