“Motorcycle riders always say it's not a matter of if you crash, it's when. Sunday night I slid out while going around a sharp corner, 45mph straight into the guardrail. I was pinned under the guardrail under the bike until EMS came. I shattered my femur into 10 pieces. Got life flighted. Now I have a rod in my leg. I have to learn to walk again. I can confidently say now I have experienced the pain scale 10 out of 10. By the way, I always wear full gear, and it saved me. All it takes on 2 wheels is a small mistake. I'd love any strength or support anyone has to offer. This is going to be an extremely long and hard journey and I won't be able to do it alone.
