Support Rachel's Scoliosis Surgery Recovery

Hello, I’m Rachel and I’m having surgery to correct my severe scoliosis in early October.

I’ve had this condition most of my life. Being a child, there was nothing I could do to get help for it. As a young adult, I started a family and had two beautiful daughters. They were my priority, so I never addressed my back issues.

Life happened, and I didn’t have the capability to get help. Unfortunately, the pain got to a point where getting help was the only option. I’ve had X-rays and MRIs and quit smoking. I’m doing all the things to make sure this is a success!

Having said all that, I haven’t been able to work. And recovery time for such a massive surgery will be lengthy. It could be 3-6 months before I can get back to work. I don’t like asking for help, but I’m falling on my sword here. Anything will help and will be appreciated more than anyone can imagine. Thank you.
