My niece Rachel is a devoted mother to two young daughters, ages 7 years and 7 months. Our family is very close, and it’s heartbreaking to see her go through such a traumatic experience. Recently, while picking up her daughter, Rachel was attacked by a dog. She suffered extensive bruising on both arms and her thigh, with deep wounds that exposed her muscle. The injuries have left her in significant pain and unable to pick up or hold her baby. On top of the physical pain, Rachel is also dealing with emotional trauma and is seeking therapy to help her heal.

Rachel will be out of work for an undetermined amount of time as she recovers. Her partner, Dylan, is now taking time off to care for her and their daughters, which has added to their financial strain. The funds raised will help cover their rent, baby essentials, utilities, therapy, and other living expenses during this difficult period. Our family is helping in every way we can, but the recovery timeline is uncertain and the expenses are significant. Rachel and Dylan have always worked hard and never needed financial help before, but right now, they need the support of their community.
