Support Rachel's Mom Through Cancer Treatment

Hello! My name is Rachel. And I have set up a go fund me for my mother, who perfers for me to keep her nameless during this time, who has been recently diagnosed with stage 4 small cell lung cancer.

Small cell lung cancer is extremely aggressive. Which means so will my mothers treatment. Her oncologist informed her that once she starts treatment, she will need to stop working. My mother is partially retired. And would only work so much to save up for winter expenses. (Oil, wood, etc) Her treatments are luckily covered by her insurance. But her social security will only cover so much of her monthly expenses. And when winter comes she will have no money to put towards her heating costs. By the time her treatment is done, her doctor said she could return to work if she's feeling up to it. However in 6 weeks her place of employment will be coming to a close where it is seasonal.

Which is why we have turned to others to try and help raise her some money to pad her bank enough to be able to cover those daunting winter expenses. After many many years of hardworking she's put out into the world, as well as being extremely sick, the last thing she needs is the stress of how she's going to be able to keep warm, to how shes going to pay the plow guy, or if she'll be able pay the difference in her electric bill during the winter months.

My sister, mother and myself are greatful for any and every penny sent her way. She's not one to ask for help ever. None of us are. And thankfully it's just the winter expenses we are turning to the community for. 5$ or $100. Every bit counts and is incredibly appreciated.
