Rachel’s dialysis to transplant support

My Coworker and friend is in need of a little extra help while she is in the process of getting a kidney transplant due to a hereditary condition called Polycystic Kidney Disease (PKD) Today the average cost for a transplant is $250k; she is waiting for her application to Medicaid for coverage. She is still working part time, but also taking needed time off for dialysis treatments as well as other medical procedures. There is no cure and the end result is renal failure and transplant. She will also have to take time off for recovery. Rachel goes to dialysis m/w/f and works t/th/sat. Anything helps as she is also a single mom to two teen age girls, trying to keep the lights on and food on the table and keep her 2012 mini Cooper running!
