Hi! My name is Rachel Martin, and I am currently pursuing my B.F.A. in Performance and Production at Texas State University, with a concentration in directing and playwriting.

This year, a play I wrote, The Booth, got selected to be presented at the American College Theatre Festival, which is a huge honor! Unfortunately, my school pulled the funding last minute and now all of the students selected for this opportunity have less than three weeks to scrape together money for transportation to and from Abilene, lodging, food, and the registration fee.

This festival is an incredible opportunity for students to network and get their work seen by thousands of people in the region with potential to advance to a national level. Students have secured post-graduation jobs, offers from MFA programs, and received scholarships from their work at ACTF.

So, I am asking for help raising money to fund my journey to Abilene for the festival. Once again, all the money raised will help cover my transportation, lodging, food, and registration fees for the five days of the festival. Every little bit helps, and I am grateful for your support!
