Support Rachel's Fight Against Stage IV Cancer

Written on behalf of Rachel’s friends and clients, we ask you to consider helping via prayers, financial assistance, emotional support, etc. Please read her story below:

Rachel Burroughs needs our assistance, and this need will be ongoing for several months. She is a single mother to 4+ children, a wonderful friend to all who know her, and a fabulous nail tech. Rachel has spent a lifetime lovingly and selflessly giving to and doing for family, friends, and colleagues.

Unfortunately, Rachel has hit a rough spot with a diagnosis of Stage IV cancer. The doctors say her prognosis is good (potentially several more years of life), but she’s going need immunotherapy treatment for several months. This will result in lessened work hours, depleted energy, and an escalating personal financial crisis for Rachel and her family.

Rachel has health insurance; however, it is limited and comes nowhere close to covering all, or even the majority, of her medical expenses. Like all of us, she also has household expenses, a car loan, and of course food and other life maintenance expenses. Because she is a self-employed nail tech, Rachel also has necessary and ongoing expenses. Rachel will have to limit both the hours and scope of her work as she undergoes treatment, further impacting her ability to make ends meet.

Rachel needs our help to navigate these difficult days. She is a survivor; those of us who love and know her are certain that she will not only weather this storm, but once past it, will flourish.
