As some of you may know, my boyfriend Mikey’s mother, Rachelle Belcastro, passed away this past Friday October 24th.
Unfortunately, the initial cost of getting any type of burial services in motion is quite large on its own let alone in the quick manner of which the event occurred. Although she was a U.S. Army veteran; the funeral and burial reimbursement programs only cover 1/10 of the total costs.
Mikey and his nephews Noah and Julian have been working extremely hard for many years to support a difficult medical condition in which Rachelle was enduring. With the sudden loss and needing to take time away from work to sort through this emotionally and financially one can imagine the strain this would have.
Any donations that could be made would be a gigantic relief in the face of this stress and would be appreciated beyond belief.
“Rachelle R. Belcastro, 64, of East Providence, passed away on Friday, October 24, 2025.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, she was the daughter of the late Patricia Ann Randle.
She was a strong and caring woman who had worked in the healthcare field for over 3 decades and a Military Veteran who served eight years in the U.S. Army. Her patriotism and service for her country was undoubtedly important to her. As her pastimes; she also had passions for world history, the fine arts, classical American literature, and poetry.
Rachelle leaves one daughter, LaTanya Sanchez of Texas and her children, Noah and Julian Sanchez, two sons, Matthew Belcastro, U.S. Marine Corp, and his wife Kelley of California, and Michael Belcastro of Providence.”
