Hello, My name is Alicia Snyder and I am raising money to support my good friend Rachel Pinson that is going through a very tough time.

Rachel was recently diagnosed with her second brain tumor. A few years back, she had the first tumor removed but unfortunately, it came back.

Although Rachel was understandably worried to have another brain surgery, she was a complete warrior and kept in good spirits. This surgery was supposed to be a few small incisions, unlike the large one she had before.

Things didn’t go as planned because they created a blood clot in her brain during surgery. The somewhat simple procedure turned into a large scar covering the whole side of her head. No tumor was removed because of the blood clot. This surgery has turned Rachel’s world upside down. She was supposed to be able to return to work a few weeks after the surgery. Following the surgery, she has had an extremely difficult time communicating and doesn’t have an idea of when she will be able to work again.

The doctors still have to go back in and do the original surgery to remove the cancerous tumor they didn’t get out and then follow it with chemotherapy.

To say the least, this has been a very difficult time for Rachel. Finances are just one of the burdens that came from this horrible situation. If you are able to contribute anything at all to help Rachel in this hard time, it would mean so much. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
