To update everyone -
As many of you have already heard, Rachel lost her battle. It hardly seems real since she barely had any time to fight. Thankfully we were able to bring her home and she was able ot spend her last few days surrounded by her family.
Thank you to all of you that have and continue to donate. All funds have been used to help with funeral and burial expenses and bills.
Thank you to all that have reached out with thoughts, and prayers . It all means a lot and please keep the prayers coming we appreciate them very much as we continue to honor Rachel.
Hi everyone, I am writing this with a heavy heart on behalf of my dear sister, Rachel. As many of you know, Rachel has been fighting a serious medical battle. Tragically, her condition has taken a turn for the worse. She has been moved from the hospital to home hospice care, and doctors have told us she does not have much time left.
Our focus has now shifted from finding a cure to ensuring Rachel is comfortable, surrounded by love, and able to spend her remaining time with her two sons.
Rachel is a hardworking single mom who has always put her boys first. One is currently a senior in high school and the other is in his second year of college at LCCC. While both boys work and attend school full-time, the weight of this situation is immense. They are facing the unimaginable reality of losing their mother at such a young age.
Because Rachel’s income has completely stopped, the financial burden is mounting. The mortgage, utilities, and daily living expenses do not pause, even during a crisis like this. We are asking for help to:
- Cover the immediate household bills.
- Assist with end-of-life expenses and hospice care needs.
- Create a financial safety net for her sons as they navigate life without their mom's support.
Anyone who knows Rachel knows she is the first person to offer help to others. Asking for support does not come easily to her, but right now, her family needs it more than ever.
Every dollar helps, whether it’s $5 or $50. If you cannot donate, please share this page and keep Rachel and her boys in your prayers. Thank you for showing them that they are not alone.
