I SURVIVED!!!! My name is Rachel Blackowski, 31 years young.. I was in a severe car accident on Oct 4th . Spent a week in the hospital and have been in rehab. Broken wrist on the left hand (& I'm a lefty) Broken right leg, ankle and knee, non weight bearing injuries for both have me in the wheelchair for an estimated 12 weeks. Have gone through 3 surgeries so far with more to come. Looking at a 6-8 months minimum recovery. Unable to work to provide living wages & owe medical bills. Usually I would be too stubborn & prideful to ask for help ... but this has humbled me to realize I need to lean onto others in my time of need and it is okay. Thank you for any help offered.
