Support Rachel and Riley After Losing Both Parents
Donation protected
My name is Katie Sabatini, and I am writing on behalf of my nieces.
Army Specialist (E-4) Rachel McAllister (21) and her sister, Riley McAllister (17), tragically lost their father, Dan McAllister, on June 18, 2025.
This loss comes after already experiencing the heartbreak of losing their mother, Debbie McAllister, who passed away from ALS on September 22, 2010. At the time, Rachel was just 6 years old, and Riley was only 2.
Despite enduring such early and profound losses, both Rachel and Riley have grown into remarkable young women, marked by resilience, determination, and strength.
Rachel graduated from Downingtown High School in 2022 and chose a life of service by joining the Army Reserves. She recently earned her certification in Civilian Air Traffic Control and continues to pursue a promising career in aviation and public service.
Riley is an honors student entering her senior year at Downingtown High School. She excels in the school's Vo-Tech program, where she has consistently been recognized as Student of the Quarter.
Dan McAllister was a devoted and loving father who worked hard to provide for his daughters. Sadly, due to a pre-existing medical condition from childhood, Dan was unable to secure life insurance. This unexpected tragedy leaves a significant financial burden on his daughters and their grandmother.
We are humbly asking for any financial support you can offer to help Rachel and Riley navigate the difficult road ahead. The average cost of a funeral in the U.S. ranges from $7,000 to $12,000, depending on services and location. In addition to funeral expenses, there will be ongoing costs as the girls adjust to life without either parent.
Your donation, no matter the size, will help cover funeral arrangements and provide much-needed stability in this time of unimaginable loss.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and support.
