*UPDATE*
1/21/25
First of all, thank you everyone for sticking with Rachel through this trying time.
We have updated the goal and Rachel and Mike are still in need of day to day items.
Rachel recently paid a $4500 deductible for one of Mike’s surgeries, depleting funds she had set back for other needs. She is also running into issues with Medicaid, dealing with daily hurdles and working with social workers.
through family help, someone has gotten a car for Rachel which we are forever grateful for.
the primary need right now is costs for food and Ensure. Lots of ensure. Money for food and cleaning supplies. If you live in Tulsa, Rachel could use help with store pickups and is still looking for a reliable sitter.
thank you friends! Please keep sharing
On September 15, 2025, Mike Craig, Rachel’s father, suffered a series of debilitating strokes. He had one in his left temporal lobe and two in his brain stem.
Rachel dropped everything to be by his side. He received hospital care until Dec 2 when his insurance ran out, leaving Rachel to become his full-time caregiver in his home.
Since the initial stroke, Rachel was still able to complete two feature films and a handful of commercials, also while dealing with transportation issues.
Friends and family, let’s help Rachel and Mike. Rachel still needs reliable transportation and Mike’s medications alone are preventing Rachel from hiring in-home help. Every little bit helps. If you know Rachel, you know that she is selfless and is always the first person to help when someone is in need. Let’s return that sentiment ❤️
