Hello!

I am Racheal Dunn from Ruidoso, New Mexico. Since December of 2022, I have been disabled with Long COVID, a smashed disc in my back from a fall down the stairs, and a Skitzoeffective Disorder, along with Degenerative Disk Disease. I am also a survivor of the 2024 Wildfires and Flooding from the summer of 2024.

I had a roommate living with me who was a prison felon who needed a home after he was evicted. He promised to help around the house, help with my dogs, pay the electric bill, and give me gas money so I could take him to work and back.

In the 3 months of his living with me, he stopped helping me at all, he stopped paying me for gas to take him to work, and he began stealing my stuff and my food. When confronted about it, he would habitually lie to me, which made things worse. He also had a psychotic break, and I had to call 911 to get him some help. He is no longer living with me as he left one day without any word and never came back. I now have to pay all of the rent and all of the utilities in the house, and I am on minimal financial support for my disabilities.

Since he never paid the electric bill with me and his excessive use of the central heat ran up quite a large electric bill. I am now asking for any monetary support to help me take care of my fairly large electric bill of $1,534.51 with PNM. Please, if you can share anything and/or share this page with others, I would be in debt to you all who help. Thank you so much, and I hope one day I can do the same for others.
