I never imagined I’d be writing something like this, but life has taken an unexpected turn. Tuesday September 23rd, I suffered a stroke that changed everything in an instant. As I continue to recover, doctors have also discovered a brain aneurysm that requires brain surgery next week.

This journey has been overwhelming — physically, emotionally, and financially. The medical costs for my hospital stays, ongoing treatments, medications, and the upcoming brain surgery are far more than Marcus and I can handle alone. Even with insurance, the out-of-pocket expenses are significant, and the recovery process will require time away from work and additional care.
