Hi everyone, my name is Ainsley Hawk, and I'm creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my friend Quyen, an international student from Vietnam studying at Oral Roberts University.

Quyen is the only Christian in her household, and continuing to stay at ORU will provide her with the opportunity to grow spiritually. She came to ORU in hopes of majoring in Nursing to prepare for a future where she can give back to her community in Vietnam. She hopes to one day, after acquiring the knowledge that ORU has to offer, show God's love in a childlike way. 

Unfortunately, due to sudden financial difficulties back home, she may not be able to return next semester. Tuition for international students is costly, and her family is struggling to support the remaining amount needed for her to continue her studies.

We are raising $8,408 to cover:

•    Tuition balance for next semester

•    Required fees

•    Textbooks and basic school expenses

Quyen has worked extremely hard, keeps her grades up, and is deeply involved on campus in prayer sets and ORU's choir. However, due to visa restrictions, she is unable to work off-campus to earn the money she needs. 

She has so much potential, and it would be heartbreaking for her to lose this opportunity simply because of financial limitations.
