On Monday, September 23rd at 6 am in the morning ICE surrounded Francisco "Paco" Rodriguez's house. They baited him out of his home with no warrant and tried to take him with no shoes or information to his family.  His both kids Josiah (age 8) and Jaslyn (age 6) woke up to crying and fear not knowing what happened to their dad. Paco is being held for deportation proceedings in a detention center in Newark, NJ. He is pending on being removed from this country as we anxiously wait for his court date on October 8. Paco has been in this country since 1997 on a permanent residency. His mother, brothers, sister, and kids all live in New Jersey.

Those who know Paco can agree that he is a great father to his kids. His bond and love for Josiah and Jaslyn is beautiful and unconditional. He works hard to provide for them and spent the last 10 years working at Borgata in Atlantic City. You can always find Paco at all his kid's soccer, baseball, and school events cheering them on.  Nonetheless, as humans, we are not perfect and we have all made mistakes. We live in a country that is strategically targeting the Latino Community and breaking families apart for their own political gain. 

The funds collected here will go towards a variety of expenses including lawyer and legal fees. This has been a very difficult and upsetting time in his family's life. Please help us bring Paco home and back to his children. They need their dad as much as Paco needs them.
