Support Quixote After Dog Attack!
Donation protected
Please see updates.... sadly, our friend Quixote has succumbed to his injuries.
Funds will be used to cover outstanding vet expenses and cremation costs, and we are leaving donations open to continue to close the financial gap for Quixote's family.
Sarah and Pete (and Chihiro!) could still use their friends for kind words and a little extra love, because this is all around a tragedy for their family. We miss and love you, Don Quixote.
Our foxy little friend that we know and love was viciously attacked by another dog that was on the loose in Hampden on 6/9/2021. He is currently at the emergency vet facing surgery. We are pleading for your support!

Quixote was on a walk with his family, his sister Chihiro by his side, when a loose dog ran up and began attacking, with Quixote ultimately suffering from traumatic (potentially life threatening) injuries. Quixote's dad, Pete, was attacked as well, suffering from puncture wounds to his arms attempting to defend his dog.
Unfortunately, this is not the first time this dog in particular has targeted the two smaller dogs, but Quixote's family avoided the alley where the dog was typically locked away behind a neighbor's fence. Despite avoidance measures and properly leashing their own dogs, the aggressive dog was out and free to do as he pleased, which was no freakin' good.
This horrible attack has left Quixote fighting for his life, and everyone who loves him is asking for your help. We all know how expensive vet bills can be, with his family accruing thousands in fees just for a fighting chance, even though this certainly isn't their fault. They are paying the price for another dog owner's negligence, both emotionally and financially. We ask that you help alleviate a bit of the financial burden so they have one less thing to worry about during this difficult time.
To reduce transaction fees, we are also collecting donations via Venmo (@doublerdoubleu) and Cash App ($dubrdubu). I have updated my profile photos on the apps to Quixote so they are easy to distinguish.
Sarah and Pete, we love you and we are rooting for Quixote's speedy recovery!

Estimate for Quixote's Treatment
(Please note: Invoice says Chihiro since she has visited the emergency vet before, and they quickly got information squared away to get the estimate to not waste time in admitting him, but it is not actually for Chi)
