Jodie and Colton had their son, Quinn Alan Crockett, on April 15th, 2025. In utero, Quinn was diagnosed with a Dysplastic Pulmonary Valve and multiple Ventricular Septal Defects (VSDs). The doctors created a plan with Jodie and Colton, and everyone was prepared to provide the care Quinn would need to grow and develop. After he was born, Jodie and Colton saw doctors regularly to check his progress. The doctors were carefully monitoring Quinn to be sure all his stats were within normal limits. In early June, they had a routine echocardiogram and received devastating news, Quinn was given a more dangerous diagnosis, an aortopulmonary (AP) Window. Quinn now needs immediate surgery to fix this hole in his heart. Their local doctors moved quickly and were able to organize a surgery at Stanford Children's Hospital. The three of them are flying to California, and Quinn will have his open heart surgery on Friday, June 20th. They are expecting Quinn to stay in the hospital for at least two weeks after the surgery to monitor his recovery. There's also a high chance that Quinn will require an additional procedure to correct the initial issues he was originally diagnosed with.
At this time, the exact cost is unknown, but they are anticipating that they will have to pay between $10,000 and $20,000 out of pocket to cover all of the associated expenses, including medical bills, travel, food, and lodging.
Any financial gift is deeply appreciated during this challenging time. Thank you for your love and support. Jodie and Colton appreciate your thoughts and prayers.
