Support Quinn's Journey to T1D Camp
Donation protected
My name is Quinn Townsend, and last year my world changed when I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes (T1D). As you can imagine, it's been a huge adjustment — learning how to count carbs, monitor blood sugar, give myself insulin, and navigate the ups and downs of a disease that never takes a break!
One bright light in all of this is the opportunity for me to attend a summer camp specially designed for kids living with T1D. At camp, I won’t be the only kid checking blood sugars or carrying insulin—it’s a place where T1D is normal. More importantly, it’s a place where I can feel independent and connected to other kids who understand exactly what life with diabetes is like.
I'm raising money to help cover the camp tuition and travel expenses. I'll be hosting a lemonade and craft stand after I graduate 8th grade in a few weeks (stay tuned!), but in case you're not able to stop by, donating via GoFundMe is awesome too!
Thank you for being part of my village. Whether you donate, share this message, or just send me your encouragement—it means more than you know! Every gift brings me one step closer to a week of fun, friendship, and freedom—something every teen deserves, especially after such a tough year.
Love,
Quinn
