At just 26 years old, our son Quinn has faced more than most people experience in a lifetime. After being diagnosed with Common Variable Immunodeficiency (CVID), Quinn developed life threatening stage 5 cirrhosis, as a devastating complication of his rare autoimmune disease.

On May 27th, Quinn’s family’s prayers were answered, and he received the life-saving gift of a liver transplant. While we are so incredibly grateful for this miracle, Quinn’s journey is far from over! Quinn will also need a bone marrow transplant to keep his body from rejecting his new liver.

Although we have been blessed to find out that Quinn's brother, Caden, and sister, Lacey, are both perfect bone marrow matches, the transplant will once again bring additional medical expenses & months of treatment and recovery.

If you know Quinn, you know he has never let his illness define him. Through every challenge, he has remained positive, never complaining and always choosing to see the good every step of the way. Even as his health declined and his appearance changed, Quinn continued to work because he wanted people to see Quinn—not his disease. Quinn is a hardworking, dedicated employee who is loved by his friends & coworkers. To us, Quinn is the most loving son and a wonderful brother to his 5 siblings. He loves spending time with family, making memories with his wonderful girlfriend, Lily, and finding joy in life's everyday adventures. Quinn’s kindness, quiet strength, and positive spirit inspire everyone around him!

As Quinn recovers from his liver transplant and prepares for a bone marrow transplant, medical bills and everyday living expenses continue to grow.
