Help Fiery Dancin Quincy Recover After Life-Saving Colic Surgery
I am helping organize this fundraiser for my fellow horsewomen, trainer and friend Tessa Moore while her and her client navigate this very difficult time. To know Tessa is to love her. She is kind, compassionate, devoted, honest, and determined. She has worked hard to reach hers as well as her clients goals in the show pen and now more then ever they need our help!
Our hearts are heavy as we share the unexpected journey of our talented three-year-old stallion, Fiery Dancin Quincy. Quincy has been making an incredible debut in his first year of showing — turning heads and winning in the arena. He’s shown us so much heart and talent, and we want to give him every chance to return to the show pen and fulfill his promise.
Just days ago, Quincy was rushed into emergency surgery for a twisted colon — a life-threatening form of colic. Thanks to quick action and excellent veterinary care, he made it through the operation. However, he’s now facing serious secondary complications that require intensive, ongoing treatment and specialized recovery.
Quincy is a client horse at Mirror M Performance horses owned and operated by Tessa Moore. His owner believed he was protected by colic surgery insurance. Unfortunately, we’ve learned too late that he does not have coverage, leaving his family responsible for the full cost of his life-saving care — expenses they were unprepared to face.
We are hoping to raise $20,000 to help cover:
• The emergency colic surgery
• Hospitalization and intensive care
• Medications and treatments for complications
• Specialized post-operative recovery and support
Every contribution — no matter the size — will go directly toward Quincy’s medical expenses and help us give him the best chance at a full recovery and a return to the show pen.
If you can’t donate, simply sharing this campaign means the world to us. Quincy has the heart of a champion, and with your help, we can give him the future he deserves.
Thank you for your kindness, generosity, and prayers during this critical time.
