Support Quila's Surgery and Recovery

Hello hello! My name is Safire and this is my sweet girl Tequila, but all her friends call her Quila. :)

Quila is a happy and spunky 10 year old pup I adopted earlier this year. She loves snoozing, snacking, snuggling, and playing as much as she can! Unfortunately, she's been having a harder time running and jumping lately because of a big lump that's been weighing her down.

A couple of years ago, Quila began developing a small mass on the far underside of her belly. Her previous owner took her to the vet and was told that it should just be monitored, but no action was necessary. It shrunk back down and stayed small for a while, but this year it has grown back again and only continued to get bigger.

This summer I took Quila to a different vet for another evaluation. We scheduled a date for removal, which they believed would be a quick procedure, but we were all disappointed to find out that the lump is much more serious than Quila has led us to believe.

She has an inguinal hernia, and since she has had it for quite some time now, surgery will be much more complicated than I planned for--which brings us to our GoFundMe.

My goal is to quickly raise enough money to cover the unexpected cost of surgery that she desperately needs, along with medications, follow-up appointments, and any other items she will need to help her as she recovers.

I want to give sweet Qui the golden years she deserves, running fast and free without having to worry about her stumbling over or being judged about her lump. She is precious and brings joy to all of those around her, and I want to give her back the love she has given to me and to others in the short time that I have had her. Any help we can get would be greatly appreciated!
