Quiana is my best friend, and she’s always been the person who shows up for everyone she cares about—no questions asked. On Valentine’s Day, everything changed when she was admitted to the emergency room after suffering a mild stroke. The stroke has affected her cognitive function and speech, and she now faces a long road to recovery. She will need ongoing therapy, both cognitive and speech, to try to return to normalcy. At this point, we don’t know how long her recovery will take.
Quiana was discharged from the hospital on February 17, but the medical expenses have continued to grow as doctors worked to determine the cause of her stroke. She is unable to return to work right now and will need assistance for her care and daily needs. The funds raised will help cover her medical bills, therapy, daily care, and living expenses while she focuses on healing.
Please support Quiana in any way that you can—prayers, donations, or even a hot meal. A little goes a long way. For those of you who know Quiana, you know how much she gives to others. It’s now time for us to show up for her and help her through this difficult time.
