Urgent Mutual Aid Ask to Support Queer Filipinx's Unexpected Move

We (Chris, KT, Czaerra, and Kris) are organizing this fundraiser on behalf of our dear friend who is in need of some help right now! We care deeply about this person, who has poured their heart into our community in so many ways, and poured into each of us as a wonderful friend. We hope that in this moment of transition, the community can also pour back into them. Please give according to your ability, any amount is helpful - we know many are struggling right now, so please do not feel that you have to give beyond your means. Below is a full explanation of the situation and a breakdown of the costs associated with their move.

A queer Filipinx community member in Chicago has to move unexpectedly in November 2024 and needs up to $5,000 to take care of their most immediate needs.

They're employed full-time and able to support themselves after receiving mutual aid support for the first 2 months after their move, but since the move was unexpected, they don't have the funds to move out within the next 4 weeks.

The community member in need has been subjected to online harassment during a transitional period in their life, so to prioritize the anonymity of themselves, their immediate close friends, and chosen family, details regarding their identity cannot be disclosed on this page.
