Queens Rockfest began in 2018, founded by producer and musician George Wasek, and has grown into a beloved annual tradition in Woodhaven, Queens, NY. Over the past eight years, the festival has inspired countless musicians, helped launch careers, and brought the community together to celebrate the power of rock music. With the support of the NYC Parks Department and the city of Woodhaven, Queens Rockfest has become a highlight of the summer, offering an outlet for creativity and connection.

Since its inception, this free event has been fully funded by George, who is passionate about keeping the arts accessible to everyone. As the festival continues to grow—2025 saw our biggest turnout yet—the need for support has become greater. Funding will be used to cover essential expenses such as a state-of-the-art digital sound system for the 2,500 seat Forest Park Bandshell, insurances, event staff, vendors, security, and NYC Park fees. These costs are vital to ensuring the event remains free, safe, and high-quality for all attendees.

Your support will help Queens Rockfest continue its mission of inspiring musicians, supporting creative arts, and uniting the community. Please consider donating, sharing this fundraiser, and most importantly, joining us as we celebrate summer 2026. Together, we can keep the music alive and make this year’s festival the best one yet!
