On Thursday, August 14, a large tree branch fell on Nellie the beautiful white peahen. Luckily, Suzanne was nearby and able to take Nellie to a vet immediately. Nellie has a broken leg and a broken wing, but will need at least a couple more vet visits to ensure a full recovery.

Emergency vet care and exotic/avian vet care are very expensive, and this comes at a very stressful time. This fundraiser will help Suzanne help Nellie by covering some or all this unexpected expense.
