Support Quasi's Urgent Medical Treatment
Donation protected
Everyone's favorite short spine GSD has been admitted to the animal hospital after declining to eat his dinner, and we discovered he had a temperature that was well over 105 - at one point even reaching 106. Quasi is currently on IV medication and undergoing some tests to see if we can figure out what is causing him to not feel well. The initial quote from the vet ranged from $3,500 - $9,300 depending on what tests and procedures he needs.
We truly struggle with asking for help, but Quasi's fans have made it clear that they would like to assist, which is why we are setting this up for Quasi. After his dental this month and other unexpected household expenses, the quote is quite terrifying, but we will make sure that Quasi gets the absolute best and most thorough care no matter what. We've set our goal to 10k to account for his current expenses, ongoing care, as well as follow-up care that will be needed. Yesterday gave us quite the scare, and we want to make sure we can get him immediate care because his condition is so rare and can really be tricky to diagnose and treat since he is different than a "normal" dog. Anything raised above his current care needs will go to his future care (including his twice-a-year dentals) and possibly to continue to help his tiny cleftie friends as needed.
