Support Quanmaine's Fight Against CJD

Hi, my name is Ashley Bright and I’m fundraising for my cousin Quanmaine Ragland.

Dear friends and family,

We come to you today with heavy hearts and a plea for support. Our dear family member, Quanmaine, has recently been diagnosed with Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease, a devastating illness with no known cure. At just 30 years old, Quanmaine’s life has taken an unexpected turn, and he is now receiving care at VCU Hospital. However, our ultimate goal is to bring him back home, where his mother and hospice care can provide the love and support, he needs during this challenging time. Quanmaine is a loving father to three beautiful children and has always been there for others, ready to lend a helping hand and bring laughter to those around him. Unfortunately, he did not have life insurance, and his mother had to take time off work to be by his side, resulting in financial strain for their family. We have created this Go FundMe campaign, with the utmost sincerity, to alleviate the financial burden they are facing. All donations received will go directly to Preddy Funeral Home to cover the necessary expenses, and any remaining funds will be used to support Quanmaine’s mother and children during this difficult period.
