Our dear, bright, loving Quaniqua Williams, also known as Khemistry, has been on a long term healing journey - already involving 16 surgeries. Thankfully, these next two surgeries are hoped to be the last that are necessary to address critical bodily functions and greatly improve her quality of life.

Surgery like this is always scary and upending, and Quaniqua has been faced with some big decisions.

There will be 2 surgeries in Seattle this month, with the first being on Thursday, March 13, and then the following week, on Thursday March 20.

Managing all the medical appointments, travel, and follow up treatments is requiring a tremendous amount of time and energy to track and plan around, and each surgery will require significant time off for healing. The recovery period is 8-12 weeks. It will truly be a Spring dedicated to full healing.

All who know Quaniqua know how much she LOVES. Full stop -- she loves and is driven by love. Yet being a creator, writer and a specialist in Diversity and Equity and Inclusion (especially during these times) means that there's no paid medical leave.

We are starting this GoFundMe to support Quaniqua to support monthly expenses for several months, with a small additional buffer for medical expenses.
