Dear Friends and Family,
You've shown up for us before—with the orange fund for preschool, and again when Qilik's friend lost their home in the fire. The way you rallied, twenty-five dollars at a time, still moves us deeply.
Now we're coming to you with something closer to home. Qilik has visual processing challenges—his eyes and brain aren't working together the way they should. We've found a path forward: visual therapy, starting in two weeks, lasting about a year.
The full cost is $9,000—and right now, that's simply beyond what we have. But you've shown us what's possible when a community pools its love in small, steady amounts. Small gifts add up to something enormous. If everyone who reads this gives just $25— and passes this along to one person who also loves Qilik—we can get there.
With so many hugs,
Tima
