Our Story
STEM should be accessible to everyone, but for underrepresented students, financial barriers, rejection cycles, and lack of research opportunities are shutting them out.
Hi, we are Put Me On!, a fast-growing initiative that helps students from marginalized backgrounds access research experiences, scholarships, and career-changing STEM opportunities without financial barriers.
We have been doing this out of pocket, using our own funds and networks to help students apply to programs, understand rejections, and land research experiences. But now, we need your help to scale our impact and remove more barriers.
Diversity, equity, and inclusion programs are being defunded, leaving students more vulnerable than ever. The next generation of scientists, researchers, and innovators is being left behind. If we do not step up now, thousands of students will lose access to opportunities that could change their lives.
That is why we are launching this GoFundMe campaign to directly fund student application fees, rejection feedback, and research experiences.
What Makes Put Me On! Different?
Most diversity, equity, and inclusion programs stop at mentorship. We are doing something completely different. We remove the actual barriers that keep students from breaking into STEM.
✅ Pay-to-Apply Removal – We will cover opportunity fees for fellowships, graduate school, research programs, and LinkedIn premium so money is never a barrier.
✅ The Rejection Flip – Students submit rejected applications, and we will diagnose mistakes, pair them with past winners, and make them competitive for the next round.
✅ Instant Research Experience – We will provide two-week micro-internships, so students can gain research experience fast, even with no background.
✅ Put Me On! Opportunity Index – We will track real-time data on who gets accepted, who does not, and why. This forces institutions to fix bias and helps students improve applications.
✅ The LinkedIn Accelerator – We will teach students how to build LinkedIn influence before they even graduate so opportunities come to them.

Where Your Donations Go
$10,000 Goal – Every dollar directly funds student success.
$50 – Covers the fee for a student applying for fellowships, graduate school, research programs, and LinkedIn premium
$100 – Provides in-depth rejection feedback + resubmission coaching for a student.
$250 – Funds a micro-internship, giving a student real research experience.
$500 – Supports the development of the Put Me On! Opportunity Index, tracking real STEM admissions data to hold institutions accountable.
